ABOUT
I've spent my career helping teams deploy process and technology in ways that actually make sense for their people and their business. Right now, I'm working on something pretty exciting - establishing how our marketing team can use AI as a collaborative partner rather than something scary that might replace them.
My approach to leadership was shaped by a lesson from my college rugby days. As a sophomore, I found myself warming the bench behind established players. Instead of feeling sorry for myself, I noticed we didn't have a good kicker. So I stayed late after practice teaching myself to kick. That initiative not only earned me a starting spot but eventually led to a tryout for the USA under-23 team. The lesson stuck with me: setbacks often hide opportunities - you just have to spot them and do the work.
That's how I lead today. I focus on building teams where people feel empowered to learn new skills and create their own opportunities. Sometimes that means rolling up my sleeves to guide them through new implementations. Other times it's stepping back and letting them own their enhanced workflows. Either way, it's about helping the team grow and adapt in this rapidly changing digital world.
Beyond work, I'm an avid cyclist and coach. My wife and I also run a ranch that provides equine-assisted learning opportunities to young students struggling in school.
